About Aging Today

We have a major problem with our caregiving system in the US. It is fractured and resembles a patchwork quilt. Seniors and caregivers are paying the price. The number of unpaid caregivers is at an all-time high, while reimbursement programs and infrastructure support remain minimal.

Do you remember taking a caregiving class in college? Did you learn to navigate Medicare or how to install grab bars in a bathroom? Do you know what to do if you find your grandmother lying on the floor?

Most people don’t learn about any of these issues until they have to. Then, it’s a scramble to figure out what resources, programs, and training are available, all in a frantic effort to help a loved one (sound familiar?)

While there is plenty of trustworthy information covering topics related to aging, online resources lack content specifically for caregivers BY caregivers. Regardless of why you ended up here today- whether casually looking for answers on how to bathe a loved one or actively seeking information on how to qualify for Medicaid- you will find thoughtful and accurate information at Aging Today.

Our team has professional and personal experience in senior care. We have provided guidance and support to clients, residents, and family members. We hope you are able to find the answers you are looking for during your visit today.

Feel free to reach out if you have anything to add, see something we are missing, or just want to say “Hi!” We’d love to hear from you.
